Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream It Cosmetics @ Sephora $15.00 (small size)
Being totally real guys, I haven’t bought anything from Sephora in like, months. The issue is I spend way more than I want to every single time and so it’s better to never go in there at all. However, I was running out of Tinted Moisturizer and I really needed to stop jamming my brush into the bottle to get the last drop. So I went. I got a new tinted moisturizer since I said I would try to find something that wasn’t mf 45 bucks a bottle which is admittedly insane. Iv’e been hearing really good things about this one, I know its only like 7 dollars cheaper but my brain makes a huge jump from 30 to 40 okay!!!!!!!! And I got the tiny 15 dollar bottle. Anyway, another blogger named Katie (hay) recommended it, it won an Allure award for readers choice and has fab reviews from the Sephora website. So I bought both light and medium, but ultimately went with medium to match my self-tanner (lol).

Tbh? Not super impressed. I like it, but its really not very different from what I was already using. The coverage looks to be about the same as NARS and feels about the same. I will say it is cheaper, so definitely worth checking out. I’m not going crazy about it since I still have to use coverup and I also wouldn’t say I’m necessarily using less of it either.

I tried so hard this week to spice up my outfits and failed horribly lol. I really need a full length mirror cause I gotta start checking myself cause I am wrecking myself (self confidence wise). Buuuutttttt, I managed to get it right once this week so of course I documented it. I got so many compliments on my shoes, but I’m gonna be honest. THEY HURT SO BAD. I actually squealed in pain when I took them off at the end of the day. To be fair though, I’ve only worn them one other time. I cent tell if I still have to break them in, or just chuck them and call it a day. I’ll keep you updated. But they really are so cute. Also while looking for these on the Charlotte Russe website I realized they got some cute ass shoes. This top, is like my new favorite. Its shiny and slouchy and love the new sleeve detail trend so so much. Anndddd its on sale!!!

Daiya Vegan and Dairy Free Cheesecake @ Wholefoods
I keep going to whole foods after work, starving, so I keep buying weird snack stuff. This required like 6 hours of defrosting for some reason, but I just left it on my counter for like an hour. Honestly, would recommend. It exactly like a cheesecake like if I didn’t have the box, I wouldn’t know the difference. So if you’re looking for a substitute, definitely recommend!

I would like to proudly state that I worked out everyday this week thank you very much. I got on a kick of these popsugar fitness videos because they have a bunch of quick HITT workouts. I recommend just checking out the whole youtube channel, but my favorite is the one I’ll link here. Quick and really burns some serious calories!

Mind hunters On Netflix
I started watching this because lately i’ve been obsessed with serial killers (in a totally normal not gonna be the next serial murderer kinda way), mostly because of my favorite murder. I liked the overall concept and it was pretty good, but the end of it was kinda, ehh. I was waiting for some big blow up or like something really crazy to happen and it was just, oh okay that was a little weird. Kinda bummed but I will definitely stay tuned for the next season whenever that will be.

So I decided to post about this song because Halloween vibezzzzz even though its old. I heard it first when I watched American Horror Story: Hotel (which is the best one don’t fight me on this), and the whole time its playing theres like a super gore-y murder going on but its such a bop. You think the song is actually about murder, but its really just about a dude having s crush on a girl (which tbh is pretty scary).
The Girl Before by J.P Delaney
This book was freakyyyy. Its about two different girls who go through a traumatic event in their lives, and move into this really crazy, high tech, minimal house. One of the girls dies in the house and then the other girl moves in and then all these strange similar things happen to the new girl in the house. I’m explaining it so bad but its good I promise. Plot twists throughout, but like a weird sad ending.
NYC Weekend Adventures™
So this weekend I went to a lot of cool bars!
Friday I finally experienced Mr. Purple, which sounds like some sort of trashy creep zone overtime I say the name of it out loud. It has a pretty awesome rooftop, although one drink is 17 dollars?? Since there’s no bag check, I suggest bringing a flask if you trying to have fun and not go broke. Next, was Beauty and Essex. The font is like a weird music room and then they open the doors to like this dark, staircase room. It just screams classy and sultry. I wish I had taken pictures of it, but also don’t wanna look like a dweeby tourist (I’m sure I’ll be back soon though). Also note the music was awesome, which means I was having fun even though I was kinda sober by then.

It looked as good as it actually was, no lie. I got the seasonal spice flavor and damn was it good. 10/10 would recommend.
Saturday, we tried to do spooky Halloween bar crawl but the universe was not having it. Every place was having some sort of halloween thing, we needed tickets for which is annoying. One place went to literally said “oh its $175 dollars but it’s open bar and theres a burlesque show and a really awesome DJ” and I was like honey, do you have an idea how much I would need to drink for that to be worth it?? G-bye. So we ended up just going to random bars and looking at all the people in their costumes. We went to this one place called KeyBar and it was pretty cool, but then this british guy who was having an existential crisis kept talking to us. Saying shit like “oh I’m more than my accent” and “you’re getting drunk because you’re trying to forget something.” I literally said to him at one point “Dude its not that deep..” I was over it. Tried to get into another bar that was supposedly laying cool 80s music but, had a cover which is so dumb this aint Fred’s free drinks I refuse to pay cover with no benefits. Might as well light my money on fire. Finally just settled on a few bars that didn’t feel like we were in the armpit of NYC. I guess this sounds like more of an un-success but I still had fun so whatever.
